About

Blueberry Hill Farm has been a family-owned farm in Crescent City, California for over 75 years. The families have changed a couple times over the years, but the love for the land and the dedication to sustainable and organic farming practices have endured.

Our farm is seated at the foot of Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. The surrounding redwood forest and fir trees help maintain the farm soil at a low pH, just how the blueberries like it. In springtime our natural pollinators emerge from their dormancy and the air is thick with the buzzing of bumblebees.

17 different varieties of blueberry bushes thrive on our 4.5 acre farm. Our fields are irrigated with well water, and we replenish the organic content of the soil with heavy, annual mulching. This year we started working with BioBlends Composting to improve soil health and plant resilience against pests by applying compost extracts and teas to our bushes.

We open for business when the berries ripen in early summer, and we stay open until the last of the berries are gone in early autumn. We leave it up to the blueberries to decide on the exact dates.

We are dedicated to the health and well-being of our land and our local community.
